History of Farfalli
Farfalli was founded in June 1950 by Marino Farfalli, who already had experience in the knife industry. In the early years, the company focused mainly on making pocket knives featuring images of famous Italian cities, targeting the emerging tourist market. In the 1970s, however, this focus shifted to corkscrews, which eventually grew to become the company's main product group. Under the leadership of Marino's sons, the company expanded its product range and grew into a globally active force. Since 2000, Marino's grandson Daniele Farfalli has been at the helm. As a result, Farfalli remains true to its roots, even as it continues to innovate.
