The Silky Outback Collection is comprised of special outback editions of the Silky Gomboy, Pocketboy and Bigboy folding saws. They are based on these standard models, but were given an upgrade to make sure they now have better features for outdoor use. As such they are not only great when sawing branches, but even bones!
Silky Outback Edition: what changed?
For the Outback collection Silky changed a number of things to make sure the saws perfectly adhere to the needs of both hunters and bushcraft enthusiasts. The saw blades are thicker, more rigid and enhanced with a special black coating. As such the saws are better in use and the saw blades will last longer. The black coating ensures that the saw blade is less visible at night, which is great for hunters. The wooden/composite handle ensures you have more control over the saw itself.

For the best results you need to make sure you keep the blade clean. Resin dissolves in olive oil and is therefore an effective and environmentally-friendly way to clean the blade. Store the saw dry and in its holster when you don't use it. Need to replace your saw blade? These are also sold separately.
