Roselli axes: refined craftsmanship
When you purchase a Roselli axe you will never want to use anything else. Yes it is really true! The hardness of the steel is unparalleled. The amazing quality of the Roselli axes is based on old-fashioned forging skills and 40 years of continous innovation. Metal often becomes brittle as you attempt to make it is as hard as possible, but Roselli was able to find the perfect combination between hardening and tempering. How they do so is, of course, a secret, but we know one thing for sure: these axes are not mass produced! The axes are still completely made by hand in Harmoinen, Finland. Every axe is personally inspected and only perfect is good enough for Roselli.
History of the Roselli axes
Roselli's story starts in Finland. Heimo Roselli was born and raised in the countryside and loved to fish and hunt. So not surprisingly, he hated bad knives which is why he started making his own to find the best balance between hardness and flexibility. He spend dozens of years searching and experimenting, and became a master at metal work. You can tell when you look at the Roselli products! They are known for their sustainability and their rock-solid, razor-sharp steel.
