This **Hultafors Mini Trekking axe** is the perfect compact axe that is easy to take with you, or for smaller tasks in the garden. It comes with a leather sheath that protects the cutting edge. 

## Axe head

The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. Basically everything you like to see in an axe head.

## Axe handles

Hultafors uses American hickory wood for the handles. This type of wood is exceptional in absorbing blows without breaking. As such it is perfect as a handle for hammers and, of course, axes.

Although it feels slightly heavy headed, it impacts with attitude and has a feel cutting/splitting. Great piece of kit. Recommend 100% 

Werkelijk heerlijke hakbijl. Ook flinke stammen van ongeveer 30 cm krijg je hier nog mee door in ongeveer 3 klappen. 
Dit formaat kan nog mooi in de rugtas. Gewicht van de kop is heerlijk voor het kloven of doorkappen van stammetjes. 

De bijl op zich is zeker een goed product gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Alleen zaten er wat busjes/deukjes in de steel en was de bijl verre van scherp. Ik heb dit niet gemeld omdat er vast nog wel andere deukjes bijkomen maar het is niets iets wat je verwacht van een artikel nieuw uit de doos. Ik had al een slijppuck meesbesteld en deze heb ik meteen gebruikt om de bijl scherp te krijgen, dit is prima gelukt. 

La hach répond à mes attentes pour les travaux forestiers. Elle fait partie de ma collection d'outils indispensables et de plus de qualité. Je conseille pour cette Hache d'investir dans un étui en cuir qui se glissera à votre ceinture.
L'équilibre de l'outil m'est très correct et l'affûtage reste à porté de tous.
Ne surtout pas hésiter lors du stockage d'îmbiber la tête d'huile.
Pour le site, nickel., la livraison est parfaite, rien n'a redire.
