Great camp axe/hatchet. Would highly recommend. After 2 months of frequent use: Fits well in a backpack for camping, came sharp out of the box, holds an edge very well, is able to split horizontally and vertically effectively as it bites and splits wood very well for its compact size. Axe can be choked up on well for more controlled carving tasks without an unbalanced feel compared to longer handled axes. In general, I believe this axe/hatchet offers great value for the money, it is a quality tool and feels great to use. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an axe for camping/bushcraft that is effective for the job with a classic and quality feel/look. Recommendations: Clean and oil the axe/hatchet handle after use after the first few sessions of using it. Ensure the head is cleaned from dirt and later thinly oiled to prevent rust building up.
