The Hultafors Carpenter's axe SY RA 21 1.0 SV is forged by hand according to traditional methods. This carpenter's axe is enhanced with a curved handle made from hickory wood. The iron is sand blades and enhanced with a clear coating. This carpenter's axe has a long, narrow and straight cutting edge. As such it is perfect for finer wood work. Because of the cut-out in the head you can easily hold it close to the axe head for even more precision.

Great, I am a Carpenter and have been looking for a good solid Carpenters axe since mine was stolen, This axe ticks all the boxes and at the right price. I would recommend it, Only critisisam the handle is a bit too long. but all round a great axe for a Carpenter.

A great camp axe. Well made. Bit disappointed it didn’t come with a sheath as most other Haltafors do come with one. But that’s not knives and tools fault. A little heavy for lighter work but great for splitting wood prep.
