Features of LED torches for emergency services

LED torches for emergency services are robust, often have high light output and offer energy-efficient performance. They are often water- and shock-resistant, so they also withstand harsh conditions. Thanks to their powerful beams, they offer optimum visibility even in complete darkness. Many models have multiple beam options and light modes, such as a strobe function.

Flashlights for fire fighters

As a firefighter, it is possible to end up in an explosive zone. For this, there are ATEX torches, these meet the highest requirements. For all zones there are both ATEX flashlights and head torches you can choose from. If you are looking for something or someone in the rubble a compact search light that can handle its own is the perfect solution. These torches have a well-adjustable beam: a low power for close range, but also enough power to quickly find your target at a distance.

Flashlights for ambulance personnel

For ambulance personnel a good flashlight is also a must. Think of checking pupil reflections, mouth and throat investigations and other diagnostic applications. UV light is also great. With this, you scan the areas where the patient has been, so it is easy to see where any residues are still present. Now no surface remains unseen. For ambulance staff, this can be useful in assessing risks of infection. A penlight will be optimal.

Flashlight in extreme temperatures

When you often find yourself in extreme temperatures, it is best to select a flashlight that works with CR123A batteries. These batteries were specifically developed to handle these types of circumstances. Even at temperatures of -20 to 75 degrees Celsius the CR123A batteries function perfectly. They also do not run the risk of battery leakage, which is, of course, a great advantage for an expensive flashlight. If you don't use the torch for a while: remove the batteries or unscrew the back of the torch slightly. This way, you keep the batteries in great shape.
