These are extremely soft. Easily cut/gauged with a knife on edge leading strokes. So soft that can easily be scored by a fingernail. Not recommended

Recieved the stone and the surface was full of holes and corrugation. These were not slight imperfections but were over 1mm deep. Thius was vclearly a manufacturing defect but most dissapointing was how manufacturer "Skerper" allowed this to leave the factory - not very good Quality Control. I bought a 3000 grit at the same time and this is fine and seems be good quality, so clearly this is a quality control issue - I've returned the 6000 grit to Knives and Tools for a replacement but it's dissapointing because now I have to wait a couple of weeks for it to go through the process - hopefully this was a one of defect.
