The **Opinel No. 08 Nature Edition** is a special edition of the famous Opinel pocket knife. The No. 08 is one of the most iconic pocket knives ever made. Originally made for farmers in 1890 by Joseph Opinel, the Opinel is a famous yet affordable pocket knife for everday use or for on the go.

This Opinel No. 08 is not just any Opinel. After the France, Amour and Escapade editions, Opinel is launching the limited Nature Edition series! The Nature Edition collection consists of three No. 08 knives. Opinel collaborated with three different artists for these three knives. Each artist gave their own twist to the theme: 'nature'. These works of art have been applied to the handles using a sublimation method. The handles look amazing! Are you a fan of nature? Or are you looking for a suitable gift for someone who is often outdoors? The Nature Edition series is just what you need!

The artist for this Opinel No. 08 was MioSHe, also known as Antoine Martinet. A French artist who explores the relationship between man, the city, nature and space on wall and canvas. On the pocket knife handle, Antoine pays homage to nature with a silhouette in yoga pose transforming into a tree.

The blade is made from stainless steel. It is thin, easy to sharpen and still very strong. The larger models, which includes the No. 08, are enhanced with the simple but effective Virobloc lock. It is formed by the ring that rotates around the pivot. As such the blade is locked in place. A practical and safe option.
