The LionSteel M4 is an all-round fixed knife, designed by Michele Moletta Pensato. It is designed as a knife for bushcraft and other outdoor enthusiasts. Large enough for comfortable use and compact enough to take with you on hikes. On the one hand the design of this knife is very modern. On the other hand it looks like a classic hunting knife. LionSteel knows how to balance these two like no other.

It’s a fantastic small bushcraft knife. The steel is what really impresses; upon delivery I tidied up the edge with a DMT and strop, and since then (with fairly heavy use) it’s remained shaving-sharp. The handle is good, though will need a little TLC with linseed oil every so often as the Olive wood seems prone to darkening and picking up water. The spine is rounded nicely but will still strike a Ferro Rod. Gorgeous leather sheath too.
