rounded spine but overall good knife

This knife is utterly disappointing. Heat treat is god awful. It came so soft I could roll over the edge with my fingernail. Because I liked the blade shape and handle so much i decided to resharpen it since i thought it was just a burnt edge from the factory. Boy was I in for some surprises. How I wish I returned that knife. I had to re-profile the edge 5 times before it would not just roll over. Just washing the damn thing with the ruff side of a sponge would turn a polished edge in to a course edge and it still can't hold an edge as long as my Bestech pocket knives in Sandvick 14c28n not to mention my Coldsteel Recon 1 in s35vn (it's not even close). I now have it for 8 months and am on my 8th edge and it still doesn't perform well. Since I have no way to test the hardness I will just assume that it is either too soft or the heat treat is just garbage (or most likely both). I really wish I bought the M5 in 3v or the M4 in M390. If you are contemplating on buying this stir clear of the Magnacut version.
