White River Knives Ursus 45 MagnaCut Black & OD Green Linen Micarta bushcraft knife

The Ursus 45 is one heck of an awesome camp knife. I love it! The ergonomics of the handle are great. It feels really confortable for any task. I used it for light batoning, feather sticks and cooking, and never felt any hot spots or limitations. The micarta is not too polished like some other brands like Joker. It feels very grippy and a little sandy (if I may use that term). I bought the knife mainly because of the blade shape. It definitely does not disappoint. The tip although fine is very strong, sturdy and sharp. Magnacut is a dream steel. Strops very easily to razor sharpness and doesn't get dull after heavy use. The hardness of the steel is awesone 63-64 HRC. The other reason that I bought the knife is the sheath. I am left handed and need sheaths that can easily be converted to left hand wear with no additional accessories. I managed to convert the sheath in 3min. There are absolutely no rattles, the knive fits perfectly with a positive click. The dangler is sturdy and feels great. Love the whole package! I have nothing but positive experience. Because of that I ordered the Ursus Cub and am expecting it tommorow. Can't wait! :) Knives and tools shipped almost immediately with great tracking. Everything went very smooth and hassle free. I am very thankful for that.

A great bushcraft knife, and overall package, in an excellent steel. Fit and finish are excellent and the sheath is first class.

What can i say.....its a White river knife so you know it's good. Beautifully made, perfect grind, excellent materials etc. I have the Ursus 45 S35VN version and now I have this version in Magnacut. Amazing made knives throughout there range and this is my 4th from them. For me this brand is in the top 3 for quality and design out of all my knives I have collected and I have 125+. Can't recommend enough and as always knives and tools has the best price and normally deliver to the UK in 3 days. Spot on guys.

This knife meets all my kneeds. The handle is smooth, the weight is not too heavy, the blade length i just right, and the high saber grind makes the blade as thin as I prefer. And the Magnacut steele is something else,..just perfect. Super sharp out of the box, i gave it some light stropping, with diamond paste, and it is monster sharp. 10 out of 10
