I always struggled to sharpen my knives. The only thing that matters in is the ability to hold an angle while sharpening. But the reality is, for us, people who have a couple of knives and we just want them to work, we're not doing this every week. Maybe a couple times a year. Well, you need to sharpen a lot of blade, if you want to keep a precise angle. This is where this system excels! It doesn't break a bank, is easy to use and I don't need to watch a hundred hours of Youtube videos on angle holding 4 times a year!

Very easy to set up and use. The knife clamp is the only slightly difficult part, particular with shallow blade bodies. But that's not an overall negative. Extremely easy to use, and already working well for both Japanese kitchen knives and a couple of toolbox knives. Recommend screwing into a heavy base.
