A very good chef's knife, ideal for slicing and chopping vegetables. And I haven't managed to cut myself with it yet! As always, Victorinox supplied a high quality, long lasting product. (This order is a backup for my identical chef's knife that I've used for a couple of years so I'm writing from experience of the product.)

Doesn't look fancy or polished but very practical. Razor sharp, non-slip grip, good weight and hand feel. First chef's night for me, can recommend to anyone looking for their first as well. Amazing value for money.

Very comfortable to hold, nice and light, well balanced. Not the sharpest knife but makes short work of most food and for this price I can't fault it.

V Fibrox is my first chef's knife ever. Being just a home cook, I was looking for a good value at a lower end of the price spectrum. This knife fits the bill perfectly. The blade is eye catching and conveys the quality of the steel. The black plastic handle is less impressive at a first glance and looks like the handles used on cheap supermarket knives. But it provides a good grip due to rough surface and fits well in the hand. The knife is well balanced, not too heavy towards the handle, the blade is fantastically sharp and its slight curve rocks easily across the chopping surface. The blade extending beneath the handle enables you to sharpen it along its full length. I am getting happier with my purchase as i continue using the knife.

This is one of the best knives to use , I use it all the time and I have some expensive German and Japanese knives costing four times the price It is not only value for money it is a great knive well made and great to work with.

The knife is the best I have ever used. Very sharp and when I am using it I feel almost like one of the chefs I see on the television !!
