When you are really far from inhabited areas, you need to be able to rely on your equipment; some things just have to work, despite everything.  

The Fallkniven A2 is an example of a knife of extreme durability that will never let you down, a knife that can stand up under incredible strain.  

The reason for its remarkable performance is that Fallkniven uses a newly-developed laminated stainless steel, with an edge consisting of the now-famous VG10 steel and with sides consisting of resilient 420J2 steel.  

The combination of these different kinds of steel gives a blade which keeps its edge well and which is also extremely strong.  

Since this knife is supplied with a convex edge, and this is suitable both for cutting and striking.  

A well-sewn leather sheath is included as standard.  

For expeditions and tough outdoor life, the Model A2 is the obvious choice of travelling companion.  
  




The blade of the Fallkniven  A2 measures 20 cm in length and 6 mm in thickness. The total length is 32.5 cm.



## Steel: VG10
The blade of this Fällkniven is made of VG10 steel. This is a very nice and popular type of steel from Japan. It is corrosion resistant, easy to sharpen to a razor-sharp edge and retains its sharpness very well.



This knife has a convex grind. This is a special sharpening method where the side of the blade continues in one convex curve to a razor-sharp edge. This sharpening method is often applied by hand in the factory. The great advantage of a convex grind is that it offers the perfect balance between minimal cutting resistance and optimum strength of the edge. The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.

Das A2 ist quasi der große Bruder vom A1 und verrichtet alle Aufgaben wenigstens genauso gut und bietet mit der längeren Klinge noch mehr Möglichkeiten beim Batonieren. Da das Messer durchgängig sehr scharf ist, sind auch feinere Arbeiten kein Problem. Das A2 liegt super in der Hand und wird mit einer robusten Lederscheide geliefert. Ganz klarer Daumen nach oben für das A2 👍🏻

Prachtig mes. Groot, scherp en oerdegelijk. Kwaliteit zoals ik van Fällkniven gewend ben. Een echte aanraden. Supercombinatie als je er een S1 of A1 bijkoopt. Een voor het grotere "hakwerk" en de andere voor het fijnere werk. Super levering van knivesandtools. Voor 15.00 besteld en morgen in huis.

Een super servivalmes! Word haar scherend scherp geleverd. Door dat de mes convex is geslepen zal hij heel lang scherp blijven. En glijd hij ook makkelijker door hout heen. Het gewicht is op juiste plek. pressies waar je het wild hebben tijdens het hakken in hout. De VG-10 kern is heel hart en gevoelig voor raken tegen steen. Dus altijd wat hout onder het gene hebben dat je wild splitsen/hakken. Een echte aan rader voor mensen die uit willen trekken en een hakbijl mee sleuren te veel volume en of gewicht is. Prijs was super goedkoop. Heb nergens hem zo goedkoop kunnen vinden. En de levering was net als altijd super snel!
