The **Buck 55** is a practical and compact pocket knife. It is called the '55' because it is exactly half the size of the famous Buck 110. It resembles its big brother in almost everything. Clippoint 420HC blade, nail nick to open it and a solid backlock to lock the blade when opened. The handle is also made from brass, the inlay, however, is made from American walnut wood. That is the only large difference in addition to the size.

Smaller than the Buck 110 and a great small pocket knife. Comes sharp as all hell out of the box

Das Messer erfüllt meine Erwartungen. Es ist im Vergleich zum Buck 112 kleiner und leichter. Ein kleines Messerchen für immer dabei. Ähnliche Klingenlänge wie beim Victorinox Bantam. 
Qualität ist sehr gut. Kein Klingenspiel und ab Werk Rasierschärfe. Bei entsprechendem Angebot eine Empfehlung, aber bei 80-90€ dann eher ein Victorinox Alox Modell in doppelter Ausführung oder gleich ein Buck112. 

Sie haben das 110 geschrumpft!!
Ich habe es eigentlich nur gekauft, um zu sehen, was uns Frau Faeser als Größtes zugestehen wollte mit ihren 6 cm. Es hat sich herausgestellt als eine doch sehr taugliche Kleinversion des 110, das ich seit vielen Jahren besitze. Taugt z.B. zum Ausnehmen von Fisch, wo der Drei-Finger-Halt ausreicht, oder als praktisches Kleinteil in der Art des alten Federmessers. Meins lebt jetzt in einem Seitentäschchen meines Schlüsseletuis und ist immer dabei. Nur: Auf den Weihnachtsmarkt darf ich auch mit dem nicht. Das immer Dran-Denken-Müssen ist nervig. Dafür kann das entzückende kleine 55 aber nichts...
