I had a Blue Flame lighter for over 25 years but lost it last year when fishing. Apart from having to send it back once because it wouldn't spark, it was faultless. I tried another "survival" lighter at half the price but it wouldn't work straight from the box ! So not much chance of it being a vital survival tool as it was advertised. The Blue Flame came with me to may parts of the world from Greenland to Lapland and Alaska. It always draws comments form people who see me use it. I had to replace it which I have now done. Delivery was quick, much better than some items I ordered at the same time and it came fuelled up. Strongly recommended as an excellent piece of equipment in all weathers and conditions.

A little devil. This lighter is small but packs a pretty punch. It works perfectly as described, including easy to access buttons that you can toggle with only one hand. The fixed-flame option is great to use the lighter as a mini blow torch. Put it in your EDC and you won't regret it.

This is the second PB207 I have bought. The first lasted me years. Lighting first time, every time. The new one however, not so great. Also has moments where it won't go out (not to do with red switch function) the flame increases dramatically and then puts itself out. I know 2 other people I recommended this lighter to were quite disappointed in theirs. Not sure if something has changed in production but this seems like too high a ratio for a one off.
