The lighter is very reliable and lights first time every time. The flame is ferocious. My only negatives are that although the flame is adjustable, the range of adjustment isn't great and the aesthetics of the lighter could be better - if that's important to you. Knives and tools despatched it promptly and kept me updated so I would be happy to use them again.

I purchased the Blazer PB207 Blue flame from Knives and Tools a few weeks ago and received it within a couple of days from the continent to the UK with no duty (love that!). I was surprised at how reasonably priced it was, as they seem to be the only retailer outside of the USA to have it in stock. I've used it extensively every day since to heat my Dynavaps and Vestratto Anvil. Works every time perfectly. May seem pricey but rest assured that you won't need to buy another single flame torch unless you lose or break it. I've tried cheap and expensive and this lighter stands head and shoulders above the rest. I already had the Blazer big shot gt8000 but that's just too much a lot of the time. Same epic quality but pocket sized. I would 100% recommend Knives and Tools as a trustworthy company. 5 stars all round 👍

I had a Blue Flame lighter for over 25 years but lost it last year when fishing. Apart from having to send it back once because it wouldn't spark, it was faultless. I tried another "survival" lighter at half the price but it wouldn't work straight from the box ! So not much chance of it being a vital survival tool as it was advertised. The Blue Flame came with me to may parts of the world from Greenland to Lapland and Alaska. It always draws comments form people who see me use it. I had to replace it which I have now done. Delivery was quick, much better than some items I ordered at the same time and it came fuelled up. Strongly recommended as an excellent piece of equipment in all weathers and conditions.
