The handle is just dull brown and looks and feels more like cheap plastic, no evident grain, the blade was dull too wouldn’t cut paper, I spoke to customer service and was told I should have asked for a shape one and one with grain. Then the return process would have cost me around £50 to return so just had to suck it up. To top it about 1 week after the purchase they reduced it by £50
