The **Petzl Tikka E093FA01 head torch** is easy to use and has exceptional endurance. The torch can provide both red and white light. Red light is perfect for maintaining your night vision and - even more importantly - many animals don't notice red light. Perfect for multiple applications: use your torch in and around the house, or for outdoor activities like camping. There is a glow-in-the-dark reflector around the LED so the head torch is easy to find in the dark. Because it lights up in the dark, you can always see the Tikka.


The Tikka E093FA01 meets the IPX4 standard. This means the head torch is splashproof. You can use the torch when it's raining, but you cannot submerge it in water. The torch can handle rain showers, snow, or sweat. The torch can also be tilted into several positions. This is handy when you want to read in the dark.


## Petzl Tikka E093FA01 light options


The Petzl Tikka E093FA01 offers three white light levels and two red LED modes: steady or flashing mode. You can change it with just one push of a button, dependent on the situation. Briefly press the switch to turn the light on and to cycle through the different light modes. The torch starts in the least bright light mode. After going through all the light modes, the torch turns off. If you press the power button for half a second, the red light is activated.


The light from the Tikka E093FA01 is strong enough to illuminate a distance of up to 60 metres. If you choose the low mode of 6 lumens, the Tikka E093FA01 will burn for an extremely long time. This mode also makes maximum use of the battery's capacity. If you select the highest mode the head torch will supply you with 200 lumens and burn for up to eight hours.

## Hybrid concept


The Petzl Tikka E093FA01 runs on three AAA batteries (included), but is also compatible with the rechargeable Petzl Core battery. The Petzl CORE is a rechargeable Li-ion battery that you can use to replace three AAA batteries. So you can turn your head torch into a rechargeable version. You can easily charge the battery with a USB cable. Never worry about battery changes again!
