I have the whole Mora collection, so I definitely wanted to try this new model too. The Amberg fits my hand perfectly (glove size 9, Large). It has the best ergonomics of all the Moras I own. Thanks to the slightly softer rubber sections, it’s very non-slip, and it also feels very secure because there’s a protrusion on both sides. Your hand is, as it were, “locked in” and can’t slide off; it’s really pleasant to work with! The protrusion at the end of the handle is useful if you want to chop a few twigs; the knife doesn’t slip out of your hand. The blade is solid, 3.2 mm thick, and very sharp. It’s the same blade as on the Bushcraft Black / Survival. The supplied sheath is also good; the belt loop can rotate, which is handy when you sit down. I would also have liked an extra clip belt loop; in the past, with the Bushcraft series, you got two belt loops, one closed and one open clip type. I also like the weight of the knife: not too heavy like a Garberg, and a little heavier than, say, a Companion or Kansbol. I thought the introductory price of 50 euros was too high, but once it was on sale for 37 euros, I ordered it right away. This is my new favourite Mora! I’m really happy with it.
