The Maxpedition CAP Compact Administration Pouch is a handy EDC organizer in which you can spend surprisingly much. Use it to organize your pocket knife collection, or to EDCa daily kit.
The Maxpedition CAP has two lockable compartments. Of course these are closed by YKK zippers. Inside the front pocket you will find one compartment and six elastic bands of different sizes to organize individual parts from your EDC kit. In the front pocket there is also a clever hook where you can hang a bunch of keys. Maxpedition has chosen to attach this hook via a ball joint. This gives you even more flexibility during use. In the main compartment you will find two pockets. There are also four elastic straps in which you can organize your stuff. At the top of the main compartment is a sturdy loop where you can hang something from. The fact that Maxpedition has thought very carefully about the design of this pouch can be seen in the colour scheme alone. By making the inside in a lighter grey colour, you create a good contrast with the stuff you put in yourself. This way, even in dark conditions, you can distinguish quite well what is where.
On the outside of the Maxpedition CAP you will find many different mounting options. On the front you will find a female MOLLE-web. You can attach male MOLLE-gear to this. Think of cases of knives and multitools. At the top of the Maxpedition CAP you will find a solid handle to carry it. Two sturdy D-rings are placed on either side of the handle. If you have your own shoulder strap (not included) you could make it so you can use it as a shoulder bag. On the back of the bag you will find a solid MOLLE-web with two TacTie PJC5 Polymer Joining Clips. This allows you to confirm the DEP on a MOLLE web. You can also braid the clips so that you create a belt loop with which you can wear the DEP on your belt.
Maxpedition has thought very carefully about the different materials they have used for the CAP. As main material they used Cordura 500D Hex Ripstop and Cordura 1000D. Extremely durable fabrics, which are even more resistant to dirt through a Teflon treatment. The MOLLE system, called Maxpedition, is an ATLAS (Attachment Lattice System) made of 840D Nylon TPU composite.
Maxpedition AGR: Advanced Gear Research
Maxpedition has made every effort in product development for this AGR series. From the Legacy series, which put Maxpedition on the map, they have re-examined every aspect. They took a good look at the type of zippers, the fabrics used, the material for clips and closures, the stitching: really everything has been done to make these bags as qualitative and reliable as possible.
