The **Leatherman Wave** is Leatherman's most popular model for a reason. With its practical size it is enhanced with a couple of extremely practical and functional tools. All tools are locked when opened. 2 knives, the file and saw can be used without opening the Wave. 

 This Black & Silver version is a limited edition of the legendary tool. The blades have a sustainable DLC coating. The main advantage of this coating in comparison to the 'standard' Leatherman coating, is that it is less spotty. Made as a limited edition, available while stocks last.

 ## Leaterman Wave tools

 ### Pliers

 Open the pliers by folding the handles. The beak has been enhanced with small serrations that offer you additional grip. The tip is small enough for precise work, such as bending fish hooks or removing splinters. The spine of the beak is curved to make sure you can easily move around in tight corners and bend a wire with ease. The pliers has been enhanced with a wire cutter and wire stripper. The wire cutter is also great for cutting small sticks and stems. Good pliers come in handy more often than you might think.

 ### Knife with smooth blade

 The droppoint shaped blade is made from 420HC-stainless steel. This stainless type of steel contains more carbon than normal 420 steel. Thanks to this addition the knife stays sharp for a longer period of time. The shape of the blade is suitable for all kinds of cutting jobs. You open the blade with one hand from the outside of the tool with the thumb eye. The sharpened length of the blade is approx. 7 cm and the blade is sharpened at a 15 degree angle. Because the blade is only 2.5 mm thick it cuts really well.

 ### Knife with a serrated blade

 This blade is also made from 420HC- stainless steel. This knife has a strong tip thanks to the 'sheepsfoot' blade. This means that the blade isn't very pointed. As such the blade is supported by the spine of the handle. This blade shape is great when opening boxes. The serrated edge definitely helps! Besides that, the serrated edge is great for cutting high-fibre materials. Such as rope. The sharpened length of the blade is approx. 7.5 cm and the blade is sharpened at an angle of 16 degrees. This knife is approximately 2.5mm thick at the spine.

 ### Wood saw

 The solid teeth cover approximately 6.5 cm of the saw blade. Branches the size of a wrist are therefore easy to get through. The saw is thin. The spine is approximately 1 mm thick and the teeth 1.2 mm thick. Because the spine is smaller than the teeth the saw won't get stuck in the wood and it limits friction. In addition to living wood this saw can handle pallets and shelves. When gardening and working around the house the Wave is a true life-saver!

 ### File

  The file has two sides. One side is enhanced with a diamond coating to sharpen a knife. Practical when you need to quickly sharpen your axe in the field. Because of the coarse grind, however, it is not suited to sharpen knives with. The other side has been enhanced with a metal file. Amongst others, perfect for removing burrs from steel.

 ### Bit driver with philips head and flat screwdriver

 With a bit set you always have the right bit close. This bit driver matches with all [Leatherman bits from the bit kit](kato://product/LE 60001-NS).
