**Knivesandtools 550 paracord type III** made in USA, is the perfect material to make a lanyard or wrist band. Originally designed for paratroopers in the American army, but today it is an indispensable tool for outdoor enthusiasts. It is incredibly practical for outdoor activities.


## Knivesandtools 550 paracord type III: unique and rock-solid


The number 550 represents the tractive force of 550 pounds (approximately 250 kg). The outer casing contains a core that contains seven core strands. If the paracord is too thick and the maximum tractive force not necessary, it is possible to remove this core. The thin strands from the core are said to also be used as suture material in case of an emergency. We haven't tested this theory yet!
