Fiskars X14 Universal Axe XS, hand axe

As a hobby outdoor amateur, I want to have a knife sharpening tool which is easy to have with me, does a decent job and isn't too complex to use. This 100% check all of those boxes. I've got it in my backpack at all times, use it to sharpen my friends and family's knives and most of the time I get a shaving sharp edge. Some knives seemt to elude me and I am not sure if its the angle, force, strokes or material. Anyway my honing steel and another two sided butterfly knife style sharpener have never gotten that close so I am very happy. The only downside I've noticed is the colouring of the ceramic and leather strop. Not sure if its possible to clean, or hampers with the sharpening, but those are minor concerns as its has already proven its worth. Would recommend for similar types of adventurers
