The **Fenix HT18R flashlight** has everything you'd want a hunting flashlight to have. This flashlight offers a whopping 2800 lumens and a beam reach of up to 1100 metres! Moreover, the flashlight comes with red and green filters. Different types of animals are sensitive to different colours. Use the correct colour filter to be avoid scaring away your prey.

## How to use the Fenix HT18

The tactical switch has a momentary-on function. By slightly pressing down the switch, the light will temporarily switch to the highest mode. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. Is the light turned on? Select the desired light mode with the secondary switch. You activate the strobe mode by holding this button down.

## Light modes for the Fenix HT18 with a 21700 Li-Ion battery

  * Turbo: 2800 lumens, burn time of approx. 1 hour and 40 minutes*
  * High: 1000 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and \`4 minutes
  * Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 6 hours and 30 minutes
  * Low: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 42 hours
  * Stroboscope: 2800 lumens

The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest position. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.

## Intelligent protection

If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.

## Charging the Fenix HT18R

The Fenix HT18R comes with a ARB-L21-5000 V2 rechargeable 5000mAh 21700 battery. You can charge it with the included USB-C cable. A battery indicator shows you the current status of the battery.
