The binoculars are OK for the price. Handling and mechanics are very good, and the image quality is acceptable, aside from some glare and chromatic aberration (at least compared to a more expensive pair I own, which admittedly is a bit unfair). The reason they did not meet my expectations is that I thought they could be used in cold weather (down to −20 °C according to the specifications). On my unit, the focus wheel becomes hard to turn at 0 °C and very hard —essentially unusable for birding— at −10 °C. Overall, I still recommend the product for warm-weather use, but for cold weather, based on my experience, it is not usable. Perhaps a change in the grease used in the mechanisms could fix this problem.
