Awesome piece of kit. The 320 grit side makes short work of putting a basic profile on even the dullest or damaged blades, while the 600 grit side quickly puts a usable edge that is good enough for most purposes on your blade. However for a more refined, polished finish, a finer 1000/3000/5000 grit stone is needed. But for a one stop shop & if you only want one stone, the coarse320/ fine 600 stone is the one to go for.
