The **DMT Duosharp Benchstone 10"" extra fine, extra extra fine** is a large sharpening stone to make your knives razor-sharp. This sharpening stone has a surface of no less than 25 cm long. This additional length enables you to sharpen large knives, including kitchen knives.

## Grain size DMT DuoSharp Benchstone 10"

The stone is enhanced with an extra fine and an extra extra fine side. Perfect for sharpening your knives to razor-sharpness and to keep them that way. Are your knives blunt? If so, we recommend using a coarse sharpening stone first. The sharpening stone has a layer of monocrystalline synthetic diamonds. Monocrystalline means that each diamond is comprised of one crystal. Unlike polycrystalline diamonds, monocrystalline diamond does not wear out as fast. This makes it the ideal choice for a sharpening stone!

## How to use the DMT DuoSharp Benchstone 10""

You can use the DMT sharpening stones with or without water. The advantage of sharpening with water is that the stone is lubricated and the sharpening residue is removed. It's also good to know that a diamond-coated sharpening steel needs to be pre-sharpened. At first it might feel coarse, but this will become less after using the stone a couple of times, after which it will have its desired effect.
