The Crock-Pot CRO26X is a Duraceramix-series slow cooker. A special feature of this series is the sauté function. A sauté function means that you can use the removable inside pan on your stove, even on induction. Practical if you want to sear the meat for additional flavour before it enters the slow cooker. This roasting is done in the same pan for an optimal taste experience.
The removable tray is resistant to extreme temperature changes. This allows you to prepare the meal in an inside pan, keep leftovers in the fridge or freezer and heat up in the oven or on the stove.
Modes
The Crock-Pot has three modes: slow, high and heath-preserving. Depending on the dish and the chosen mode, the process takes between four and ten hours. Ultimately, the maximum temperature of 96 degrees is always reached. Depending on the chosen mode, this is relatively fast or slow. Because the temperature does not exceed 96 degrees, the burning of your dish is prevented. You don't have to stir in the pan either. In addition, the Crock-Pot CR026X has an heath-preserving mode. When the set time has elapsed, the slow cooker automatically enters the heath-preserving mode. Practical to keep your meal warm for eating a little later.
Cleaning
Make sure the slow cooker is cooled-down before cleaning. Clean the lid and the removable dish with warm water and a non-abrasive detergent. Cleaning the inside pan in the dishwasher is not recommended. This is at the expense of the non-stick coating. The housing with the heating element must definitely not be washed in a dishwasher or immersed in water. A damp cloth is sufficient. Store the slow cooker in a dry area. A damp room can affect the electric circuit in the pan.
