New: Fenix LR40R USB rechargeable flashlight with 1200 lumens

Fenix introduces its most powerful flashlight ever, the Fenix LR40R. This new flashlight is incredibly powerful. You can combine the broad light beam with the spotlight function and, as such, you have maximum light output of 12000 lumens and a beam distance of 773 meters. The result is a massive light beam which, in combination with its compact size, is perfect for search ops, rescue missions, while discovering caves and during many other outdoor activities.

This Fenix LR40R is a fine piece of work: a robust look, feels decent, but is also strikingly compact for a flashlight with so much power. The two side switches are made from stainless steel. With the left side switch you can control the broad light beam (turbo, high II, high I, medium, low), stroboscope mode and sos mode, and with the right side switch you can control the spotlight (high, medium, low and eco). Do you immediately want to switch to the stroboscope mode? Hold the left switch down a little longer. The flashlight also has an ultra-clear glass with an anti-reflection coating for perfect visibility in the dark.

The Fenix LR40R is enhanced with two different LED lights. The broad beam contains 18 Cree XP-G3-S4 LED lights. The spotlight mode contains 1 Cree XP-L-HI V3 LED light. The flashlight works with the included Fenix ARB-L37-12000 rechargeable Li-ion battery. The battery has a capacity of 12000mAh and works up to 92 hours / 4 days. In case of an emergency you can also place one to four 18650 batteries in the flashlight.

This flashlight has one usb-c-port. As such you can easily charge the battery in the flashlight with the help of the included USB cable. In only 3 hours and 30 minutes the LR40R will be fully charged. You can also use the discharge function to make sure you can also use this flashlight as a power bank. Thanks to the battery indicator you know the exact status of the battery.

The Fenix LR40R has a lock-out function. As such you prevent the light from activating during transport or while storing it. To lock the light you first turn it off and press down the two switches at the same time for about three seconds. To unlock the light you do the same thing: Simultaneously press down the two switches for three seconds. Afterwards you can once again use the light.
