Has your endless search for the right chef's knife become dull?

The kitchen knives from the Pro collection are enhanced with a blade that is forged from one piece of steel. The full tang blade seamlessly merges with the plastic handle. The handle is secured to the steel with three rivets. The transition between the handle and steel is seamless. No dirt can accumulate in between. These knives are enhanced with a classic design and appeal to those who prefer heavier knives.  
  

The blade is made from ice-hardened Friodur steel. During this process the steel is heated in 4 stages to 1000°C and cooled to-70 °C. Zwilling perfected this technique, and guarantees optimum sharpness, sustainability, elasticity and corrosion resistance. You also sharpen the knife in five steps. The result is a perfectly sharpened knife. The crop of the knife does not extend to the edge of the blade to make sure you can easily sharpen it on a sharpening stone.  
  

Thanks to the seamless construction and the materials used, knives from the Zwilling Pro collection are dishwasher proof. We do, however, recommend washing them by hand because the detergent in a dishwasher can affect the knives in the long run.

This wide-blade Zwilling is outstanding—razor-sharp, well balanced, and comfortable to use. Holds its edge very well. 
After one month I bought two more as gifts. 

Ik ben geen prof, gewoon een ouder iemand die een goed allround keukenmes nodig had. Niet te groot, beetje gewichtig, ligt dus stevig in de hand…  goed scherp! En door zijn brede lemmet, is het heel makkelijk de gesneden stukjes op te nemen en in een kom/pan te doen. Enige minpuntje is dan wel dat tijdens het snijden, stukjes aan het lemmet blijven kleven, maar mijn ervaring is dat dat praktisch bij elk mes kan gebeuren. 

Couteau de très bonne qualité, tien bien en main et au tranchant excellent.

Great knife, I've many of the Pro range, but I wasn't keen on the 20cm Chef, so I've moved down to this as my main work knife. This 16cm seems much better balanced and easier to use for both slicing and dicing. If I had one slight issue is that the wide blade is probably too wide with food sticking to the blade, I might go for scalloped blade next time. Price was excellent, and delivery quicker than expected.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
