The **Mora Companion Heavy Duty MG carbon** is one of the more heavy-duty fixed knives from the famous Mora Companion collection. You can tell when you look at the thicker blade and the larger handle. The scandi-edge is sharpened at a relatively large angle to make sure it will last longer.

This knife is great for bushcraft and survival tasks. The spine of the blade isn't too curved, which makes it easier to use a firesteel. It is razor-sharp upon delivery and easy to sharpen. In addition, the rubber handle offers enough grip and is comfortable enough to work with for a longer period of time.

As with all carbon steel blades it is important to properly maintain the blade. Carbon steel is, after all, not stainless and needs to be stored while clean and dry.

Comes with an dark-green, hard plastic holster, which features a sturdy belt clip.

Het klinkt inmiddels cliché, maar ik zal ze nogmaals herhalen. Een sublime balans tussen prijs kwaliteit. Voor mij doen de beste allrounder. Heeft geen5 sterren qua voldoen aan verwachtingen want de rug van het lemmet is niet haaks scherp. Maar daar kan ik zelf aan werken. Kortom, heel veel mes voor weinig. 

Nog nooit zo'n scherp mes in handen gehad! Het ligt goed in de hand en is multifunctioneel. Zelf slijpen is gemakkelijk. En dat voor dat geld!

Voor de prijs het allerbeste bushcraft- /edc mes dat er is volgens mij. Heel scherp, makkelijk bij te slijpen door de scandi-snede; heel sterk en een goed formaat. Niet té groot, maar groot genoeg om ook mee te kunnen batoneren. Un grand classique, convient très bien à mes mains (larges), lame plus épaisse pour une meilleure robustesse, léger, il peut presque tout faire,  pour moi indispensable pour compléter une lame plus lourde sur laquelle on peut taper sans craintes...

The knife feels and is a workhorse. Great value for its money. The handle is grippy and the blade is thick enough for tougher tasks, within reason ofc.
