Ik heb het mes gekocht als aanvulling op mijn TRC13 van TRC Knives.
Dit is een zwaarder en groter mes en minder geschikt voor het fijne werk tijdens survival/camping. Ondanks dat ik het mes nog niet voluit heb kunnen testen zijn de eerste indrukken geweldig.
Afwerking is optimaal, maar dat kost ook wel een flinke duit.
Het enige minpuntje is de lederen sheat. Kydex is voor dit soort messen het meest optimale materiaal (hygiene). De beschikbare sheats van zytel zijn ook niet optimaal (beschadigen het mes).


De TK2 stond al langer op mijn verlanglijstje. Toen het vorig jaar (2014) zover was,  gooide een plotselinge (zeer forse) prijsverhoging van  Fällkniven producten bij Knives and Tools voor mij roet in het eten.
Nu toch maar gedaan, weliswaar met wat gemengde gevoelens.
De TK2 is echter alles wat ik ervan verwachtte. Iets slanker, spitser en langer dan de (eveneens voortreffelijke) F1. Erg mooi mes, mooi afgewerkt. 
Ik kan de TK2 zeker aanbevelen. Het mes kwam in een luxe verpakking met lederen sheath. 
De TK2 past bovendien nog beter in de zytel sheath van mijn F1, dan de F1 zelf, die op zijn beurt ook in de lederen TK2 sheath past.

Kwalitatief een zeer goed mes. Word vlijmscherp geleverd. En blijft dit ook na lang gebruik. Het mes lijkt duur. Maar b.v. het staal is super, niet te vergelijken met menig ander mes.
En ik kan het niet laten om kniveandtools wat complimenten te geven. Ook nu weer, vandaag op tijd bestellen, morgen leveren. Super service.
Ik koop veel online, en ook regelmatig bij kniveandtools.
Maar bij kniveandtools is het steevast vandaag bestellen morgen in huis. Ongelofelijk. Het lijkt wel of ik aandelen heb bij kniveandtools.

Als Mensch mit großen Händen finde ich die Größe des Griffes sehr angenehm. Die Länge der Klinge reicht füt die meisten Tätigkeiten outdoor völlig aus. Die Klinge ist vieleicht manchen etwas zu dick (4,5 cm). Dadurch und den Laminatstahl aber auch sehr robust. Mit dem Nachschleifen von 3G-Stahl habe ich noch keine Erfahrung. Insgesamt ein tolles Messer - nicht ganz billig, aber mit Zukunft.
