I think that this knife was better

Once the fingerprints were wiped off, the blade screw was tightened and the wood was oiled it was perfect 👍🏼

This isn’t the knife pictured. Two scales and 3 rivets in stainless, not impressed Expectation: BLOCK walnut and a single BRASS screw, 59g. Reality: stainless screw, 3 stainless rivets, metal core, 2 scales of walnut, 67g. May sound picky but it’s a different knife!

I am very satisfied with K&T service, it is transparent and couldn’t be faster. It is excellent. But unfortunately I am VERY disappointed with this knife. It is not EKA Swede 88 anymore and description is not accurate. I’m not nit picking, not at all. 1) The knife is NOT made “from one block walnut wood” (see description) 2) The screws and rivets are not from brass but stainless steel 3) There was NO SHEAT (see specifications) 4) In the Images there is another and good version of this knife In fact this is degraded version of original knife. I saw this knife many years ago, I waited years for it to show up again. In the meantime I couldn’t resist to buy EKA 10 orange kraton as substitute, which is totally different knife in fact. The main charm of the EKA 88 was rather unusual one block (= just one piece) of wood and large brass screw. This pale version has metal core and two wooden scales instead, same as great majority of all similar knives. So rivets and screws are on both sides, even screws are worse. No brass. And 67 g instead of 59 g. IT'S A PITY. This is just another ordinary knife. More suitable name would be EKA Swede C19. To EKA: Was it really necessary to spoil very good original design? To K&T: To avoid such disappointments, it would be right to update the description and change the images with those of the knife we are buying.
