This **BeaverCraft Starter Chip and Whittle Knife Set S15x** is a set for wood carvers. It contains everything you need to get started with a fine chip wood carving knife, detail wood carving knife and a wood carving knife for coarser tasks. All nicely stored in a stunning leather tool roll.



These knives all look like the 'normal' C6x, C15x and C16x knives, but with a handle made from nice walnut wood. An extra fancy option. Only a limited amount of this knife was produced.

## About the wood carving knives


The blade is made from fine carbon steel. Easy to sharpen and very tough. As such it will bend sooner than it will break, in case something goes wrong. Better safe than sorry! Keep in mind that carbon steel is not stainless. So don't store it while still wet. A couple drops of oil once in a while will make sure the blade stays in great shape.



The handle is made from walnut wood, A nice type of wood with a warm look and feel. The ergonomics of all BeaverCraft tools is great. But the good thing about wood carving knives is that you can always modify the handle yourself. To make it your own!

Cadeau très apprécié. Lames bien aiguisées 

Prettige messen voor een goede prijs. Fijn setje voor een beginnende houtsnijder, ze liggen fijn in de hand. Ik ben vooral fan van het detailmesje.

Mooie set die flink scherp worden geleverd. Zit ook een mooie lederen opberg rol bij, alleen de leren straps waar de messen in zitten zijn wat strak dus is lastig om tussen die scherpen messen eentje er uit te krijgen.
Onder tussen met wat spul het leer versoepelt en niks meer te klagen.

Prachtig setje van a tot z mooie kwaliteit en zeer scherp geleverd. 


Fine knives, came sharp enough to work with, but became even better with a few minutes stropping.

The larger knife is a bit of a tight fit in it's holder & maybe a bit dangerous to loosen if you're not staying present, but dampening & stretching the leather solved that fairly easily.

Great starter kit that I'm thinking will do me well into this hobby
