The **Amare Knives Pocket Peak Fixed** is a fancy fixed knife, designed by German knife maker Ulrich Hennicke and made by Real Steel Knives.

 The first thing you notice is the elegant and streamlined design. Remarkable about this fixed knife are the ridges at the start of the blade. These are placed as such to make sure you place your thumb and index finger here during use. As such you have a lot of grip to make sure the knife won't slip from your hand as you use it.

 Amare Knives selected Sandvik 14C28N-steel for the blade. A stainless and razor-sharp type of steel that was specifically designed for kitchen and hunting knives. This Pocket Peak fixed is perfect as a steak knife. This steel is also easy to sharpen if need be. The blade is enhanced with a nice stonewashed finish. The Pocket Peak Fixed can easily and safely be carried with the kydex sheath. Included is a practical Tek-Lok-Clip to make sure you can hang the knife from your belt or backpack. You could, of course, also carry the Pocket Peak Fixed around your neck as a neck knife with a piece of paracord.

 All in all the Pocket Peak is a perfect fixed knife for the modern gentleman. Because of the slim and compact design the Pocket Peak is perfect to carry with you for everyday use!

This knive is very interesting. It has quite a unique and very useful design. You get a lot of knife in a very lightweight package. The jimping on the bottom and the top of the blade is very well executed. It gives the right amount of traction without being aggressive. The blade itself is slender, pointy and very slicy without being fragile. The handel is not the most ergonomic, but more than adequate. 
The fit and finish is very good, especially for the price you pay. The machining is, as far as I can tell, perfect. The only things that feel a little bit more budget is the handel in g10 and the kydex sheet. But everything is still very functional and orange (witch is always good in my book). The steel is also very well hardened and keeps it's edge longer then my Mora Garberg (same steel).
I have used this knive while motocamping and on famillie weekends. It has served me well in the kitchen, making kindling for starting fires and doing some lite woodwork. It is a knife that you can carry when you don't want to carry a heavy fixed blade, but still need to carry more then a small fixed blade or a folder.
I really think this knive is well worth the money. It is unique and very capable.
