You can use this Sawyer Hydration Inline Adapter to connect your water filter to the hose of your hydration pack. Simply screw the adapter onto your water filter and cut the hose where you want your filter. You then put the filter in between. Make sure that the arrow on the filter points in the direction of the nozzle of the hose. Now you can fill your hydration pack with dirty water, and drink straight from the reservoir without having to use a large filter beforehand.
