I bought this knife to cut overgrown roots in my garden. It had a saw edge, it wasn't expensive and it looked Ok Frankly I was expecting something that was cheap and functional. I was amazed. It was top of the range Japanese engineering, the saw edge demolished roots an inch thick, the other edge is razor sharp and the knife doubles as a superb trowel. This knife is incredible value for money

This is an excellent hori hori knife. It is well made, sturdy and with a sharp blade that will be useful in cutting and digging. It is a versatile tool in the garden, for weeding and for planting and since purchasing my 1st knife some years ago, I found it to be invaluable in the garden. This is my 2nd knife and is of a significantly better quality. I am very pleased with it.
