Lion Sabatier Idéal chef's knife 25 cm, 711680

I first bought an identical knife a long time ago, perhaps 15 years, from a store in a local town. It became my favourite knife and I used it heavily. Eventually, however, it suffered from wear and tear and somebody (I don't think it was me) managed to break the tip off it by inserting it clumsily into a wooden knife block. With a birthday coming up, I decided to ask for a replacement as a present. No, this knife isn't cheap and there are many inferior ones on the market at much lower prices, but I wanted to get an exact replacement. Unfortunately the store in which I originally bought it succumbed many years ago to selling only the cheaper products so I had to resort to the Internet to buy this product. However, from many years of experience, I can testify that it is a good knife and worth the price.
