The **HDS Custom EDC Rotary** 325 lumens flashlight is the successor of the HDS systems EDC Rotary. The main difference is the number of lumens (from 250 to 325). The LED light was also renewed. With the new and improved LED light the beam distance improved as well. The light of 6200°K is a little cooler than sunlight at noon. The LED light has a colour rendering index (CRI) of approximately 72.

 This LED flashlight is perhaps the best flashlight for daily use. The small size, the high performances with one CR123A battery and the great finish all contribute to that. This compact flashlight has a wonderfully practical size and can easily disappear in your pocket. The narrow part in the casing provides a very natural and comfortable grip. The fine diamond-shaped texture contributes to this.

 ## HDS Rotary switch

 What HDS is mostly known for is the exceptional functional rotating switch. The switch has 24 light modes. The number of light modes is not what is exceptional, the logarithmic distribution of the modes is. Our eyes find it difficult to see light modes as bigger, unless the ratio between the steps is good. The steps in HDS flashlights always have 1.5x increase or decrease compared to the previous position. As such you can see each individual position as a separate position. A technical masterpiece in such a compact flashlight!

 ## The promise of a HDS-flashlight

 HDS systems is led by enthusiasts. This is clear when you read how much effort is put into creating the perfect flashlight and to individually perfecting each flashlight.

 ### Individually calibrated

 To exclude variation between LED lights each LED is individually tested and the power supply is calibrated to make sure the flashlight works according to the specifications. As such HDS flashlights work a lot longer than the value that is listed.

 ### A unique dimming algorithm

 HDS flashlights go to 0.02 lumens light output. This is unprecedentedly low, and an achievement in itself. The unique HDS algorithm ensures that the shade of the light stays a lot whiter with this amount of lumen than with other similar light modes of competitors.

 ### Unparalleled construction quality

 HDS is not the only brand that produces solid flashlights, but it is the only brand that produces such solid production flashlights! Quite often the components of a flashlight don't wear out, where it goes wrong is where the components come together. HDS pays a lot of attention to this. Apart from the springs in the battery/battery compartment no part moves. In addition, ACME screw thread is used, this screw thread is much more reliable than the usual V-shape screw thread. Crystal clear lenses with anti-reflection coatings guarantee that almost no light is lost.

 ### Interchangeable parts and accessories
