The **Flytanium Benchmade Stonewashed Titanium, Green Tritium, Thumb Stud** is a cool thumb stud for your Benchmade Bugout, 940 Osborne, 945 Mini Osborne or Griptilian. Make your knife entirely your own! What's special about this thumb stud is that it contains some tritium. Tritium is a mildly radioactive material. Don't worry though, it's completely safe! The radioactive energy results in light. That's why it's often used for expensive watches. The amount of light the tritium in the thumb stud gives off is comparable to that of watches. It's an elegant touch, and it makes it super easy to find your knife in the dark.

## Tips when installing

Adding new scales or other accessories isn't without risk! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.
