The Fenix PD36R is a compact and rechargeable flashlight that is mostly suited for EDC use, outdoor activities and tactical purposes. With a maximum light output of 1600 lumens and a beam distance of 283 meters the PD36R is a real hulk. Because of its compact size you can easily take the flashlight with you. Make it disappear in your pocket or attach the flashlight, with the help of the included pocket clip, on your belt or bag.
How to use the Fenix PD36R
The tactical switch on the Fenix Pd36R has a momentary-on function. Hold the tactical switch down and the light will momentarily turn the highest mode on. As soon as you completely press down the switch it will stay on. You simply select the desired light mode with the stainless steel switch.
Is the light turned on? As soon as you press the MODE button, the light will temporarily function in the stroboscope mode. To deactivate it you press the MODE button again. Thanks to the memory of the light it will always start with the mode last used. This does not only apply to the stroboscope mode.
Fenix Pd36R V2.0
The head of the light contains a USB-C port. A rubber cover ensures that the head is protected against water and dust. A such the USB-port also cannot be damaged.
Want to check the battery status while charging the light? A red-green charging indicator shows you the charging status. Each time you turn the light on the battery indicator will show you the current battery voltage. As such you can find out how full or empty the battery is. This indictor only works in combination with the Fenix 21700 Li-Ion battery.

- Turbo: 1600 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and 50 minutes
- High: 800 lumens
- Medium: 350 lumens, burn time of approx. 8 hours and 24 minutes
- Low: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 26 hours
- Eco: 30 lumens, burn time of approx. 115 hours
- Strobe: 1600 lumens

The Fenix Pd36R comes with one Fenix 21700, 5000mAh Li-Ion battery, USB-C charging cable, wrist strap, spare Or-ring and a nylon holster.
Intelligent protection
If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops you can switch back to turbo mode.
