The **Fenix HM75R rechargeable head torch** is a high-quality and versatile head torch for professional use. The lamp has a replaceable internal 18650 battery and an external power source with a 21700 battery. This combination ensures that in the low mode of 5 lumens, the torch will last 234 hours on average! The head torch has three light modes: a spotlight to light up a large area, a floodlight to illuminate your direct surroundings and a red light to maintain your night vision. And with a maximum output of 1600 lumens, you have a good amount of light at your disposal. You don't always need this amount of light, of course, which is why Fenix added 12 light modes to this head torch. This combination of features and light modes make this head torch very suitable for construction site work, search and rescue and outdoor adventures. 

## How to use the Fenix HM75R

To operate the head torch, turn the rotary switch clockwise to one of the designated modes to switch the torch to spotlight, floodlight or red light. To switch off, turn the rotary switch anti-clockwise. For output selection in different modes, click the glove-friendly button on the side of the head torch to switch between light modes. 

You also have the option to lock the charging cable. Turn the cable plug clockwise into the socket of the head torch and external battery to lock the cable. This prevents you from accidentally pulling the cable out of the torch. 

## Light modes for the Fenix 

The light modes mentioned below are calculated based on using the internal Fenix 18650 3400 mAh battery. Using the 21700 battery, you might have a less bright turbo mode, but you get 2.5x the battery life.

### Spotlight

  * Turbo: 1600 lumens, 223 metres, 1 hour 30 minutes
  * High: 800 lumens, 158 metres, 3 hours 30 minutes
  * Medium: 350 lumens, 101 metres, 11 hours
  * Low: 50 lumens, 39 metres, 50 hours 50 minutes

  * Turbo: 1000 lumens, 60 metres, 1 hour 50 minutes
  * High: 400 lumens, 43 metres, 4 hours

## Charging the Fenix HM75R

You charge the torch with the included USB-C cable. The USB-C port is safely located behind a screw cap, as such you won't damage the light when it comes in contact with water.
