## Condor Trivittate Puukko blade

The blade of the Condor Trivittate Puukko is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the steel of the blade runs throughout the entire handle. Regular Puukkos commonly only have a thick pin of steel sticking into the handle, so this full-tang construction is much sturdier. This knife is made for all-round outdoor use. The blade has a scandi-grind. That is a fine grind for wood work. A scandi-edge is also easy to sharpen. Even with limited means and while out in the field.

The handle of the Condor Trivittate Puukko is made from micarta. This is an incredibly strong type of material that feels great in hand and is incredibly light-weight. It is made from canvas and synthetic resin. At first glance the micarta might look a little pale, but after using it, the oils in your hands will make sure the micarta will become darker. It takes over the traces of use, making the knife uniquely yours! 

The Condor Trivittate Puukko Knife comes in a traditional leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 5.5 cm.
