Böker Trapper Castle Burg 113004 pocket knife

The Böker Trapper Castle Bug 113004 is a classic gentleman's knife which has been produced according to this pattern for over hundred years. With this Trapper Böker took another step back in time. The blade is namely made from O1 carbon steel. Not stainless, but like how they used to make it. Even easier to sharpen razor-sharp, which is a great advantage. Carbon steel also forms a patina in time. It changes colour because of fruit acids and moisture. That is why a couple drop of oil once in a while will keep it in great shape. Böker helped the blade out with a coarse etched finish.
