Sharpness Test Experience Center

Every month, it's action time at our Experience Centre in Apeldoorn: the sharpness test of the month! It's the perfect opportunity for you to see how sharp your knife truly is. Whether you're bringing your carefully sharpened favourite knife, or want to use the sharpening tools at the Experience Center for that flawless edge, there's only one thing that matters: who has the sharpest knife this month?

How does it work?

You bring your own knife. You're free to use our sharpening tools at the Experience Center to sharpen your blade. Then, we will test the sharpness of your knife using the Edge-On-Up sharpness tester. This high-tech device measures sharpness with gram-level precision. The lower the number, the sharper your knife is. Exciting!

What can you win this month?

Each month, we give away great prizes to the owners of the three sharpest knives. And believe us: the competition gets fierce!

Terms and conditions for the Sharpness Test

Do you think your knife is the sharpest of all? Great! But before you join this battle of the blades, take a moment to read our ground rules:

• One knife per month: you can only enter the competition once a month, using one knife. So, choose wisely! Don't worry though, next month you can simply try again.
• Use your own knife: don't use your neighbour's knife, your grandmother's knife or one of ours. This is your moment, your trusted tool put to the test.
• No brand-new knives: we're putting your sharpening skills to the test, not the manufacturer's. You can sharpen your knife at our Experience Center!
• You can only win once per year: did you make the top 3 already? Congratulations, you won one of our prizes! After that, you'll have another chance next year.
• Share your results and tag us: share your results on social media and tag us. We want to see your skills and so does the rest of the community!
