Features of Yaxell Ketu kitchen knives
The blade of the Yaxell Ketu knife consists of three layers. Two layers of stainless steel on the outside, enveloping a core of SG2 powdered steel. This is a very hard steel with a hardness of as much as 63 HRC! As such, you can sharpen the knife to razor-sharpness. The blade has a hammered finish. In Japanese, this finish is called Tsuchime. It is a traditional and artisanal Japanese finish originally created by the blacksmith's hammer. The handle is made from pakkawood. It uses beech wood as its base and features a stunning black and gold-brown colour. Pakka wood is a laminate made of thin layers of wood impregnated with a strong synthetic resin. As a result, it is very strong. Perfect for the handle of a knife. Thanks to the round shape of the handle, the knife feels great in hand. A decorative mosaic pin and an engraving at the end of the handle make it even more elegant.
