Bought this sharpening stone to speed up material removal on harder blade steel. It allowed me to re profile S110V in minutes whilst staying perfectly flat. No need to wear down your 120 grit stone with endless strokes. It is not recommended for use with steel blades but i did not notice any issues during my sharpening.
