## Due Cigni 1896 America blade

The blade is made from X50Cr15MOV stainless steel and has a smooth, razor-sharp edge. This sharp edge allows you to cut through meat without tearing the fibres, so the meat stays juicier and more tender. This type of steel is highly resistant to stains and rust. In addition, you can also easily sharpen it yourself if it loses some of its sharpness over time.

## Due Cigni 1896 America handle

The handles are made from black POM. POM is a very strong plastic that can withstand moisture, acid and heat. This makes the handle virtually maintenance-free! Nevertheless, we do not recommend putting these knives in the dishwasher. Due to the high heat and strong detergents, the POM could discolour or even crack over time. The handle has rounded edges, making this steak knife very comfortable to hold. The handle is secured to the full-tang blade with three rivets.

## Due Cigni 1896 America

The kitchen knives from the Due Cigni 1896 collection were designed by Oreste Frati. In addition to being the owner of Fox Knives, Oreste is also a gifted designer. For the design of these knives, he looked at the design of classic European chef's knives. He drew inspiration from this design and then made it his own. You can clearly see this in the flowing lines of the handle. The thin blade ensures that the knives weigh next to nothing and are easy to use. The knives are produced in Italy.
